Lexi Headen Nashville Pelvic Floor Therapist_edited_edited.png

Dr. Lexi Headen, PT, DPT, PCES

Lexi grew up in Franklin, TN, and currently resides in Spring Hill with her husband and three kids. Lexi graduated from Appalachian State University with a BA in Exercise Science in 2010, then returned to Nashville to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in 2016.

Lexi previously worked in an outpatient physical therapy setting with a diverse patient population, and has obtained additional training in manual therapy and dry needling.

Lexi underwent pelvic floor physical therapy herself after having healing delays following the birth of her first child. It was this experience that shaped her passion for pelvic rehab, helping people regain their sense of self and independence, as well as renewed confidence in their own body. She has undergone over 5 years of additional education and training to treat a variety of pelvic conditions for both men and women.

Lexi initially began CrossFit during PT school, and has trained in several other functional movement gym settings since. Lifting, running, and higher intensity training has been especially helpful to be able to keep up with three kids 5 and under.
