
Dr. Tatum O'Brien, PT, DPT, ATC/L
Originally from Pittsburgh, Dr. Tatum has lived in Nashville since 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from The Ohio State University in 2020, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023. She then went on to complete her residency in Sports Physical Therapy.
Tatum is passionate about athletics, and she has supported athletes at every level—from high school to professional organizations including Ohio State, the Tennessee Titans, the Cleveland Guardians, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since moving to Tennessee, she has also had experience working with Nashville Rugby.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Tatum has coached fitness boxing and is passionate about exercise as a tool for both performance and overall well-being. She is committed to helping her patients bridge the gap between rehab and performance while empowering them to stay active and resilient.
Tatum enjoys boxing, weight lifting, and trying new workouts. Her free time is often spent with family and friends, hiking or being outside, reading, or experimenting with new sourdough recipes.
