WHAT TO EXPECT ON YOUR FIRST VISIT

Your first visit will likely include a lot of talking; pelvic issues can have multiple presentations, therefore, our goal is to make sure we address all concerns. Much like your orthopedic physical therapy evaluations, we will do a movement exam and any necessary special tests. There will also be a posture and breathing assessment, as well as an abdominal wall assessment. Then finally we move to our pelvic floor exam, which is tailored to each patient's need and comfort level. Often times, we also discuss diet, fluid intake, and bathroom habits. From there, we will develop a custom treatment plan to address your symptoms and get you moving better!
